Hudson Bend Middle School (HBMS) is rated Recognized by the Texas Education Agency. HBMS offers the core academic classes of mathematics, science, language arts, reading and social studies to more than 895 students. Accelerated and gifted and talented instruction is offered in language arts and math classes.

 

The elective curriculum offers a broad array of course offerings: athletics, physical education, Spanish, dance, art, choir, theater arts, band, orchestra, yearbook, web mastering, teen skills, robotics, math and reading enrichment.

Students at all grade levels have the opportunity to participate in UIL academic competition, National Junior Honor Society, choir, band, theater arts and orchestra programs. UIL boys and girls athletic competitions are offered in 7th and 8th grade for football, basketball, track and field, tennis, golf and volleyball.
